NATHAN SEROTA

Your family doesn't know me but my Grandfather was Alexander M. Serota, Nathan's uncle. My mother was Ada Serota Spiegel. My twin brother Lewis and I enjoyed reading his book especially the chapter when he worked at the coal and ice plant my Grandfather owned. Leon and Minnie were Lewis's Godparents..We offer our sincere sympathy to you all.

Just read in today's NY Times, Nat's passing. I have wonderful memories of working with Nat and his sons mostly Jeff on financing their office building many years ago with one of my pension funds! I am sorry to hear about your loss. My husband Samuel and I will never forget the times we spent in the Bahamas at the Atlantis. It is because of Mr. Serota that I am alive today. Its amazing how this angel in the form of Nat Serota passed my way, allowing me to have open heart surgery at the same hospital that he had his procedure.
