Great man

Great man. Always thought he was the best of the best .

I want to thank everyone who made comments and sent condolences via my husband's guest book. Your reflections truly represent the way he has touched so many over his many years as an educator and friend. His high school yearbook said it so well: "Would that there were more like him!" Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. Most Sincerely,

He was a great leader and person. I recall riding my bike through Kean and talking to him as if he were a student, a very natual guy with no "im better than anyone else" philosophies. A true giant and one of a kind.

Woodridge still remembers the Weiss family. Mr. Weiss was well respected and well liked. The Krieger, Adler and Kantrowitz families all have fond memories of the Weiss family. I remember going to school with Paula at an early age. The Woodridge Village Board held a moment of silence in memory of Mr. Weiss at their 5/6/13 Board meeting.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences to Dr. Weiss's wife Bernice ( whom I worked with for many years at the College of New Jersey) and to the entire family.

I am very saddened to hear of Dr. Weiss' passing. As a graduate of the MPA Program at Kean, Dr. Weiss taught classes that I attended. I always had great admiration for him and viewed him as what I thought a "teacher" should be, more than just about the books. As an administrator in a non-profit I often think of not only him, but the many lessons on life he taught me. He will be truly missed.

I was a student of Dr. Weiss many years ago. He was such a knowledgeable man. I was a history major and had a 29 year career in education. Dr. Weiss also recognized my name at the time, and we discovered he served in the with my cousin .
