I have very fond memories of Dr Abston. While I worked at the VA, he and I frequently worked together to help out disabled veterans. He was a good man and his light touched many.

I was a student of his for the 2nd intro to Psychology. He made it exciting when compared to the other professors. Back then in the early 1980s we saw few black professors at South AL. RIH Dr Abston.
