family adefope,
I only knew nathaniel for a few months as a generous local supplement to our small restaurant. as everyone has stated he was a gregarious and wonderful person. the news of his demise has come to me later than most. the act of forgiveness in your family is admirable, though i am saddened and still angry that such a wonderful person has left this world . i hope that he and your family may find peace.

respectfully,

everett nelson

It is with extreme sadness that we learned of the death of Nathaniel Adefope. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff, and volunteers at the Frist Center, I send our condolences to the family, especially our friend and former co-worker, David. Please know that you are in our thoughts at this difficult time. We also want to express our sympathy to Mr. Adefope's co-workers at TSU. His death is a tremendous loss to intellectual integrity and graceful manners.

Kathy,
I worked with Nat over 30 years ago and have never forgotten what truly good people you both are. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and will pray for your family. It truly was an honor to have known Nat.

Mrs. Katherine and Family, I was a graduate student at TSU and Dr. Vo and Mr.Adefope were my advisors. I worked with Fope (that's what we all called him) for a coupe of years. After I was the only girl there and he always treated me like a baby sister. If I ever needed anyone to talk to he was always willing to listen and give advice. I have been in Colorado now for 9 years and I called Fope at least once a month to see how he was doing. He always told me that he was a Mandingo Warrior,...

Mr. Adefope was a wonderful person to know. I remember raiding the RSP for their unwanted things that he could use at the poultry house. He was truely a wonderful man and I feel honored and blessed to know him! May the Lord Bless him and Keep him. May the Lord lift up the light of His countenance upon him and give him eternal peace. AMEN!
