I met Nate at severance right off i thought a very genuin guy ,anice guy .We would sit around telling eachother jokes and critekeing them afterwards.we had a lot fun at that club and would be there all day sometmes , so nate was more like a realitive than a just a person u see at the club, agood friend gone too soon, I'll miss him.

My Sympathy to the family.
Nate was an old "school chum" since Jr. High School. He, like myself never moved far from our childhood homes therefore, we continued to see each other over the years until his passing. Nate was a kind and caring but we all loved that somewhat eccentric person in him also. I will miss seeing around Cleveland.

Nate was a special friend to our family. We first met him, like others who have posted, as the crossing guard in our Fairfax neighborhood in Cleveland Heights. But soon our relationship grew much deeper and we began to share our lives....what we loved and what brought spirit to us on many levels. Music was a common bond, especially blues and his playing harmonica. He became part of our extended family of choice, having dinner at our house and playing music with my husband and other...

Nate carried an assortment of jackets, boots, hats and gloves in the trunk of his car, so he would be prepared no matter the weather. In winter he had a shovel so he could clear the...

The passing of an associate, friend or loved one from this life leaves a void in the heart. We do not grieve as those without hope for to die in Christ is to live with HIM in eternity. Let us all make sure we know where we will spend eternity!

Nate, rest in peace!

NATE,
I WILL MISS YOU.
TILL WE MEET IN A BETTER PLACE AND
SHARE CONVERSATION AND A CUP OF JAVA

Nate was THE MAN...and to say our world now has a void is an understatement...he was the crossing guard at fairfax for many years...and made each day a special moment for every child that he walked across lee road. He gave me an old electric guitar..so now I'm challenged to learn to play in his memory...The past few years or so my wife and I would see and chat with him at borders...and now..an empty chair awaits us all...we love and miss you Nate ..R.G.Hallenstein and family...
