Dear Kay, family and friends of Nat,

I am very sad that Nat passed away. He was such a nice person and great scientist. He played a big role in my astronomer career when I worked with him at IOTA for so many years. This led to great new techniques for interferometry that were then implemented in Europe and the US. I also remember him as great man who had the passion to pass his knowledge to younger people. He was both passionate and patient.
