Nathaniel Brock "Nate Nate" Donaldson

Nathaniel is the greatest son in the world.  He was the most carefree and loving individual that I have ever known.  At 15 years old, he had a grasp of human nature that was refreshing and awe inspiring.  He always saw the goodness in people even if it was not readily apparent in some.  I am fortunate to have been blessed with 15 wonderful years with my son.   I look forward to reuniting in Heaven when the time comes.  I love you, Nathaniel.

DONALDSON, Nathaniel Brock, 15, of Richmond, son of Terry and Carol Donaldson, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Steve and Frances Cosby; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Donaldson; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished family members. Nathaniel was a great little guy, he cared more for his close friends and family than himself. He attended Varina High School as a sophomore. He was quick witted, outgoing at times and shy around the girls. He will truly be missed and has left an ever lasting footprint on his parent's hearts. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va.
