Today I ran a four-mile race in East Northport NY entitled "I did the Grid" to honor fallen veterans. SPC Nathaniel Garvin's name was on my race bib. Please accept my deepest condolences and know he is not forgotten.

There is no words that can make this pain go away, and no one knows why things happen in the way they do. I know this story has touch every one and my heart and prayer goes out to his family. I do not know Nathaniel, but I know he had to of been one special guy to have put his life on the line for our country. I know Timothy is a special friend and his brother meant the world to him. May God help his family through this difficult journey, may his memories live on. He is home now, his home...
