Dear family of Judge Jones,

You have my sincere condolences. I don't believe I ever met him but, he grew up and went all through school with my mom, Audrey Kirkland Evans, She used to say he was one of the kindest people she ever knew. Sadly, she passed away in 1984 at 57 from CHF and never got to see the courthouse downtown. I can tell you that he really must have been truly a great person for her to talk about after all the years since they graduated from SHS.

My sympathy for...

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Judge Nate Jones was a friend, colleague and Kappa Brother. I had the pleasure of serving with him as local legal counsel and president of the Dayton Branch NAACP during the Dayton school desegregation litigation. Also, sharing foreign travels and many domestic meetings, conferences and social occasions with Nate and Lil. Our world and national are better because of Judge Jones' unselfish service during his distinguished career. RIP. Attorney Richard...
