To The Mitchell Family,
My heart and prayers go out to you all. I had the pleasure of meeting and calling Gene "Unc", he was a very special person to all of us here at the VA Hospital. We will miss his smile, laughter and funny stories...I know he will be smiling down from above with all those who have taken that final journey before him.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

Mitch,
It was only a few weeks ago that I saw you last at the VA hospital and we talked,Luis and I will miss you but I am comforted in knowing that you and Elaine are together again.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.
