He is survived by two sons, one brother, one sister, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. and where homegoing services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. Minster James R. Taylor officiating.
