Mr. Nathaniel Williams, Jr. (Baker), 62, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010. He was born September 10, 1947 to the late Nathaniel and Evelyn Williams Sr. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was employed with the Hidden Valley County Club for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edna Hopson and a sister, Eleen Levesy. Survivors include his sons, Nathaniel Patterson, and Rodney Otey (Wendy); daughters, Tiffany Williams-Wade and Genia Otey-Johnson; sisters, Inez Wainwright, Marilyn and Patricia Williams and Diane Young; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, with the Rev. Connie Lee as Eulogist. The interment will follow in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. Friends may call at Serenity Tuesday, 2 to 8 p.m. for viewing.
