Not sure what to say?

Nathie was truly inspiring. She opened a whole new world of the Deaf community. She truly opened my eyes to the amazing culture and language she so passionately shared with her students. I was so blessed to have met her.

A beautiful humorful sensitive loveable lady! She is definitely missed by me and many others. Be around us. Sue

I can't believe that it has been five years since Nathie passed away. We shall always be blessed with her beautiful ASL, her infectious spirit, great laugh and amazing smile. She lit up every room that she entered. I still miss you Nathie and was blessed to have known you.

One of the best teachers I had at ACC.

Nathie was a remarkable woman. Be it a workshop or pleasure, she was always teaching. I will miss that genuine smile and kind spirit.

You will truly be missed, I was hoping to meet her this year, I retire this month and wanted to meet her next month. May God be with the Nathie children and family, she was an awesome woman and l watch, enjoy just love her videos.

With deepest sympathy and to express in the loss of your loved mother, and to let you know that many thoughts are with you. Nathie and I have memories at GU, KDES and our circle friends. So sorry to see her go. With love and prayers, Pauline Spanbauer. Willis and Pali Dacanay, Lanham, MD

Just last week I watched a video of Nathie with my ASL students and I would tell them how I got to know her as a young student at ASD. Her impact on so many of us is tremendous. Her vibrant personality and passion for ASL will always be remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
