Not sure what to say?

To Neal's family - I have just heard that Neal died - my heart felt very heavy for you all. I visited with him at the Chico High 100 year celebration and was so pleased that he was so happy. He shared news about Wyoma and we laughed about the times we shared. It was a brief encounter but added a great deal to my life. I think of him and his parents and brother each time we pass Stanley Avenue. You are all in my prayers. One more chapter closes.

Neighbor Neal we will never forget you and all you did for us over the last 15 years. The neighborhood will have a big hole in it and never be the same. It was an honor to know you and we will miss you terribly. Love from Carole, Fred, Tylan and Liam.

I am very sadden by the news of Neal's passing. I met Neal for the first time back in 1995 as I was tranferring in to Chico and Neal was in pre-retirement mode. I have since retired and was begining to know Neal again in the last couple of months thu the tuesday moring coffee group. He will be missed by all. My prayers are with him and his family. God Bless.

Tracy, Tricia, Loren and families~
I will truly miss Neal and his kind and helpful nature. Never without a smile, he was the epitome of a real gentleman and friend. May memories of him remain a comfort to all of you during this difficult time.

Fondly,
Carol (Davis) Gabrielson

Dear Tracy and Trish, Your dad was a very special man. I went to school with Neal's brother Loren and didn't become friends with your family until we all had our families. Neal was such fun and always so giving. His loss will be felt by so many, both family and friends. You are in our prayers and hearts. But just remember all the good memories and kindnesses Neal was always so ready and willing to give. He would want you to be joyful that he is up there smiling and wanting everyone to...

My thoughts and prayers go out to Neal's family. I wish I had been in contact with him after school. it seems he was a terrific person. and iI am sadden that I did not get to know the grownup Neal. Think of all the great times you had with him and cherish all those moments. He will always be with you. when you feel that someone is watching you, it will be him., when you feel a breeze near you , that will be him., and when you see a penny, pick it up because it will be him saying "Hi I am...

Tracy and Tricia,
Your dad was always giving to his family, friends and community. Not too many will match his spirit and commitment. We know everyone will admire and treasure his friendship, deeds and courage forever. We only have to close our eyes to see his smile and listen for his laughter. May his memories always bring you comfort. Love to you both and your families. Let’s keep in touch. Doug and Dorene
