Neal was a gentleman in every way. He knew how to make you feel welcome in his presence. I had the privilege of knowing Neal in business and at his church. He was a profound soul-my condolences to his wife Linda and family.

Neal and I were married for a very short time in the 60's. The marriage didn't take, but the friendship endured. I always had the greatest respect for his integrity and his wit. He was a loyal and kind presence in my parents' lives (Mary Eileen and Dick Dobson) for more than fifty years. Thanks and gratitude for many memories. RIP, Neal.

I first met Neal when we were amongst the crew, sailing on Galveston Bay in 1970. He had the halliard for mail sail and it slipped through his hands. The result... the boom dropped on my head (explains a lot... doesn´t it..!!.). Since then we were close friends. My wife, Andrea, came to view Neal as a Brother..!! RIP Neal.

Looking back over the 50 plus years I have known Neil so many memories of events I have attended over the years. The Lonely-Hearts Thanksgiving event was always looked forward to, as well as many parties we attended in each other´s homes. The company, food and fun never failed. I was also blessed to have attended a few gourmet dinners at Neil and Linda´s, the food was out of this world and the conversations always stimulating. It was always the three...Don, Neil and Mary Lou. I looked...
