Not sure what to say?

Neal was a good friend to me and taught me a lot about life and music. We worked together in Dr. C. and as a duo in a few Chicago Folk clubs and traveled some in the South performing as a trio in Dr. C. He was a great musician and guitar player and a wonderful friend. I have followed his career from afar and have enjoyed all that he accomplished. I would bet that he's still composing somewhere and looking at the world with his great sense of humor and wit. Thank you Neal! Jim Haydon

Neal, you were such a wonderful and talented man. Thank you for the gift of your amazing music. Both you and your songs will live on in our hearts and memories. Rest in peace, my friend.

Few people´s passing truly and sincerely affects a community. Neal was one of them, and he will long be remembered for his music, his humor and his deep human kindness. Liz and Maynard

I love Neal´s music and always think of his band at Tyee vineyards. Special memories.

And it was contagious: in so many of my treasured conversations with Neal, the creative Joke-0-Meter would inevitably peg, with Neal pulling me along into a wildly hilarious parallel universe. I will miss those journeys. Hey, perhaps we could dust off that video we all made of Neal's Tribute Concert a few years back...

Neal was a very solid guitar instructor who I took lessons from in the mid nineties. He touched many lives as well as getting me started on my acoustic guitar. He was also a great entertainer.

Dear Barbara, Holding you in my heart. Neal was beloved and you his beloved. Jana

So sorry for your loss Barbara. Thank you for this obituary-a beautiful tribute to a beautiful soul. May I suggest that folks in Neal's inner circle organize the First Annual Neal Gladstone Earth Day Memorial Concert? It could be held this Sunday at a local park or maybe at the UU Fellowship for starters just to get it done on short notice, and then plan for a larger concert next year and every year thereafter? It would keep Neal in our thoughts and could be an eternal tribute to his...

Neal was a treasure for our Corvallis community He will be honored and remembered for many years to come
