I knew Neal as one who truly believed in contributing to the community as part of his life. I got to know him more when he was an active and dedicated officer of the American Judicature Society. Neal was a wonderful board member with United Cerebral Palsy Association , where I was the Executive Director. His friendliness, humor and compassion were top notch!! People with disabilities have lost a dear friend. Thank you Neal for your gift of friendship.

A good Man. Always pleasant and a great sense of humor. Mahalo for being a friend and always bringing a smile to my face. A hui hou. The great Kanda!
