I must say that I'm truly sadden, today I was searching for Dr. Newell's address to express how instrument he was in my development in becoming a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor. There was a very bleak period in my life when I would not have made it without his counseling and kindness. He was truly a good man! My sympathy and prayers go out to the family.

I'll always remember my good times with Curt as a marriage and family therapy colleague, especially in our supervision group and on our many trips together with the AAMFT. He was a gifted therapist, with a particular talent for therapeutic metaphors.
