Not sure what to say?

Neal was a fine person and a good friend. We all miss him, his laughter, and his wonderful sense of humor.

Neal and I knew each other since 1967 in Derby Junior High. He was quiet and cute and he was on the basketball team which means he was much taller than me. He and I went through High School together and I saw lots of lots of girls in high school look at him and giggle- he was hot! He had an All-American look and character, and when I knew him, back in the day, he lived up to it. I am glad to have been his friend, and I pray for his family. You loved and lived with my old friend. We are all...

My condolences to Neal’s family and friends. They are in my prayers.

Dear Susan, Jessica, and the entire Ranstead family, How very sad to hear of Neal's death. I enjoyed seeing him at our Seaholm 30th Reunion a couple of summers ago and was fortunate to spend some time with him and Mike Dennis that evening. He was a genuinely happy man and just as dear as he was in high school and college. We all admired his athletic ability and he lit up a room with his ready smile. He will live on in all of our hearts and we count ourselves lucky to have known him. My...

Dear Susan and Jessica,
It is with heartfelt sympathy that we offer our condolences. All of us remember Neal jogging daily in our neighborhood, so full of life. His memories will live on with both of you. We keep you in our prayers.
Sincerely, Carol, Warren and Courtney Fischer

Susan, Jessica and the entire Ranstead Family: Please accept my and my families deepest sympathies at this difficult time. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Neal's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of attending Seaholm High School with Neal and being one of his team mates on Seaholm's football team. For a short time I also tried to keep up with him on the basketball court but that quickly prooved to be futile effort on my part. Neal was an exceptional athelte and even a better person and...

I'm very sorry to hear about Neal's sudden passing. We were good buddies when he first moved into our neighborhood in Troy. I enjoyed playing all kind of sports and particularly basketball with him. We went to high school together. What a good athelete. But more than that, a warm and caring person. Just a very nice guy. I remember his great smile and his darn good looks. He was very special. I never met his wife and daughter, but I know they will miss him greatly. All who knew him will. It's...
