Neal Shaffer was a good man. He played a role in our childhood and guided us along our path to becoming adults. Neal and Eleanor were our neighbors. He was a friend to my father and good to us children. I can still remember the sound of his gentle voice. Whenever he came to visit us he never failed to bring good humor to our home and everyone enjoyed his company. We will miss you dearly.
