Read MoreNed and I were close friends at Michigan State. And went to Fort Lauderdale together in 1962. Great fun. He was a good guy, a very bright fellow and everyone liked him. So happy we were able to keep in touch via e-mail. Sorry for his passing.

Ned and I were suite mates and friends at Michigan State University. I remember the glorious Spring Break trip that Ned, and Jim Ellerbrake and another guy and I took in Ned's Studebaker. I spoke to Ned a couple of years ago, and reminded him of a piece of wise advice that he had given me years ago. I'm sorry he's gone.
