Read MoreI am the daughter of Herbert (Doodle) DeLaune. Throughout my life I heard stories of Ned King. My father loved and cherished him from childhood until his death. It brings me great pleasure to know that he is in heaven with MY daddy and to know that they are reminissing once again but, now in God's beautiful heaven. Ned King was a great Christian business role model for me when in became an agent for Mercantile Security Life in 1965. I was always impressed that he led in prayer when we completed our training school on Sat. morning. That was 40 years ago and I still have wonderful memories of Ned and will always be grateful to him for the encouragement he gave me in the early years of my insurance career.
