I first got to know Duke at Morris Brown College when he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. While he was on line, I had a hard time remembering who was "Duke" and who was "Bull"...William Hunter. They were together all of the time. Believe it or not...Duke was the quiet one.
My heartfelt sympathy to the Durden family in the homegoing of Duke. May you find some comfort in the thought that others care and will remember him.

Duke was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, while we both were at Morris Brown College. In addition to being fraternity brothers, I had the pleasure of singing with Duke as we provided music for our mid-week Vespers services and Sunday morning worship services at Morris Brown.
