Not sure what to say?

Sorry, I meant Some Like It Hot

My lady and I were invited to meet him at his 90th birthday party in Cambria, CA. As I am a fan and know Hollywood we had a ball talking about all his movies and the actors he worked with. He was fond of Ross Martin, Lee J Cobb, and Robert Ryan. He also told us he enjoyed working on the Twilight Zone with Rod Serling and enjoyed doing Some Luje it Hot. We miss him!

I have no memory of him other than I was an avid fan of his work. I am old enough to remember many of his earlier TV roles. He was excellent! RlP Nehemia Persoff

What a talented man. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world.

A few years before his passing, I felt compelled to write a letter to Mr. Persoff to thank him for all the enjoyment he brought to many of us from his acting roles, especially his character Jake Guzik in the Untouchables TV Series. He replied promptly with a kind and humble note. His legacy in films and TV will live for perpetuity. Thank you sir.

That he lived a long life provided him with opportunity to enjoy and give back we should all do so well. Thanks, N.P.

So saddened to hear of Mr. Persoff's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing him while living in Cambria, Ca. We would talk often when meeting walking on the Boardwalk, later sharing laughs at his home, when I was running for Mayor 2006, he not only contributed to the cause but donated to one of my auctions. We have written to each other on occasion since my moving to Bishop, Ca. He was and will always remain a bright shinning Star. May the winds blow softly and whisper in his ear.

For the Persoff Family, my deep condolences for your loss of father and grandfather. I was so saddened by the news of Nicky´s passing, yet comforted that he and his sweet Thia are together now in peace. I am so privileged that I knew him in recent years, through Thia´s membership in our cancer support group. Following her death, I´ve enjoyed wonderful visits with him. Watching him paint, hearing stories about his acting career, and sharing ice cream were special times. Cambria is my favorite...

My condolences are with the Persoff family. Some like it hot is one of my favorite movies. I pray that you will be surrounded by the love & support that you need and may "the God who supplies endurance and comfort" (Roman's 15:5) be with you always.
