Neil was a true star of understanding and compassion. We worked together several times with severally years away from each other, each time I heard his voice, it was as if no time had passed. Neil made me feel seen, appreciated, and understood as a person and an artist. Neil's full contribution to this world, family, and friends is still unfolding, and I believe will never come to an end.

Such an awful tragedy. Neil was at our house lots when he and our son Max Jr were friends in high school and college. Neil was the force of a unique and talented artist who only comes our way if we are lucky. We were very lucky. We will keep him in and hearts forever!
