Commander Neil Sherman "Buzz" Carns USN (Ret.)

To the darling family of Buzz Carns: How sad I am to hear this news of a dear friend. Buzz was an outstanding person in all aspects of life. I had the pleasure of coming to know and work with Buzz beginning in 1966 during the construction and testing of the nuclear attack submarine USS Flasher (SSN 613) at the Electric Boat shipyard. I encountered him again several years later after he completed his distinguished USN service and began supporting commercial nuclear power plants.
