A name popped into my head a couple of days ago but not the first time the last 50yrs so I went on-line to see what I could find. Not good, still reeling from the news. Have only spoken to Neil once since leaving the military. We first met at Ft Gordon, GA mid-69 and became friends right off the bat. We are so very sorry for your loss. We know how much Neil meant to all of you and how devastated you must be. Since I don't drive and my husband can't drive much anymore, we weren't able to go to the funeral home. You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Neil was my best friend for about 10 days. Following his first knee replacement I joined him as his roomie at Baystate. He was discharged a day before I was. But arriving at the rehab facility the next day I was fortunate enough to be his roomie again. It was wonderful to be paired up with such a nice guy again. We pushed each other a little during the rehab exercises, which I think helped both of us. Got to meet and see Cindy daily.

I worked with Neil at HMC. he was a great man. He always was willing to help His passing is so sad. My condolences to all of his family and friends. May he be engulfed in Gods light.
