Not sure what to say?

Neil was a good friend to many. He loved teaching, loved traveling, and loved photography and always shared pictures. He was an inspiration to me at the beginning of my career. He helped me see that education changes lives and doing the best we can is what makes us successful. I've known him for over 40 years and will always remember his humor and kindness. Peace to all of his family.

I met Neil in July 1982 in a laundromat on Haight Street in San Francisco. An hour after watching our clothes dry, we were

Neil is one of the good guys. Kind, fun, and always ready for a new adventure. You lived every moment to the fullest and had so much fun!

I was stunned to learn of Neil's passing. Neil and I were friends before he left for California. We had many friends in common and attended concerts and participated in many of the same activities. Neil was kind and thoughtful and added so much to any event.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.

I will remember his smile and friendliness as I walked by his classroom on the way to mine at Hollywood High. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Jane and family,I'm very sorry for your loss. I always appreciated Neil's sense of humor growing up. He had a way of making the obvious really humorous. His intelligent perspective was unique, and his gentle manner a true gift.
