Neil J. Horgan

Neil J. Horgan, 68, of Coventry passed away suddenly on February 27,2011 in Newport. He was born September 28, 1942 in Bronx, NY a son of John and Mary Horgan. On July 4, 1986 he married Tammy Whitcavitch who survives him.
Mr. Horgan was a diesel mechanic for the Highway Department of the State of New York for many years. Neil enjoyed being outdoors watching the birds and squirrels coming to the bird feeder. He enjoyed stamp collecting and working in his woodworking shop.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Horgan of Coventry, two children Shawn Horgan of Coventry and Heather Horgan and her companion Tom Cloney of Newport Center.
He is also survived by his sister Noreen and her husband Frank and by sisters Joanne and Sheila, by his adopted brother Paul Fortin of Derby and by several nieces and nephews.
