Such a brilliant, genuine, funny kind person. He brought his mom to my 40th birthday party. She couldn´t walk so he brought me to their car where she sang me a birthday song. He introduced me to so many great South Buffalo folks. My heart goes out to Karen and Mary Anne. RIP dear friend.

Mary Anne and Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. Neil was a great friend to me and our entire family. He used to say I was like another sister to him and called me "Col". That was his nickname for me. He would reminisce about our family vacations. Those were some fun times. I´ll always have wonderful memories of Neil and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

Neil was one of the kindest and unassuming persons I have ever met. The memories of all the fun times over the years, the good advice he would give to my family when needed and just a wonderful friendship will always be remembered. I can´t remember Neil ever saying a bad word about anyone. If anyone went straight to heaven it is Neil.

There's an old expression that says you don't know what you've got till it's gone, but Neil was the exception to that rule. We knew he was someone special, even if we didn't know exactly what that might be. Over the years we saw our friend as he developed into a hard-working student, shifted his focus from the law to business, completed both a bachelor's and a master's degree, and became a trusted and successful financial advisor. The fact that his friends willingly gave him their fortunes to manage is a level of trust that few can approach; and that trust was rewarded many times over. In an age of cynicism, he was a good man. That said, he was nobody's fool, and could quickly separate the false from the truth in any conversation. If you listened to Neil explain a concept or a theory, it was easy to see how he became an instructor, as well as a gifted story-teller; and his friends provided ample material from which to tell. It's no exaggeration to say that all who knew him loved the man. So our friends from Saint Bonaventure will continue to gather as we have done for over 50 years, but we won't enjoy those gatherings as much as before Neil's passing. We will console ourselves with our memories and stories of him, and knowing that he is with us in Spirit.

My condolences to Karen and Mary Ann. I will miss the great conversations and his financial advice. We would often reminisce about the good old days fishing with our fathers in Canada. He was a great friend.

All those childhood memories of sharing the joys of our parents 'friendship that later grew into our adult friendship and appreciation of our respective professional lives. I respected Neil as an advisor and miss him as a friend. Sending love to Mary Ann, Karen, and the whole extended family and friends.

I'm sorry to hear this sad news and will be thinking of Neil's family. I had the good fortune to be Neil's roommate at St. Bonaventure. He was a year older and was a big support to me. I remember Neil as a kind, considerate man, easy to be with. I remember spending a weekend at his folks' home. His family was so hospitable and gracious to me. Rest in peace dear Neil. Many good memories of you coming back to me.

We drove together to Florida during Spring break from Bonaventure to Daytona Beach. I recently had some good conversations with Neil regarding NYC and St. Bonaventure Men´s Basketball . He was a great friend and human being no doubt about that!!!

Neil's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his many friends, family, and colleagues. He was a passionate individual who loved the stock market, reminiscing about his friends at various Wall Street firms, and sharing his financial expertise with all. He was a proud alumnus of St. Bonaventure University & St. Joe's Collegiate High School. His love and admiration for the Buffalo Bills & Sabres was well-known. Neil will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his sharp business mind, and his kind heart. He will be deeply missed.
