Mr. kamoto u were my favorite part of going to school and the last day of school I was crying because i didn´t want to leave u and u told me "don´t worry kawehi u will see me in fifth grade" and I got picked up and when I got pick up u said "bye kawehi see u in fifth grade " and the one day I went to the mall in summer break and my mom told me the news about u and I burst out in tears crying because of how much u meant to me and I would do anything to be able to sit and talk to u at lunch...

Neil was an amazing human being. The gap he left in our hearts because he left us too soon. May the days, weeks, and years bring healing to our hearts and leave us with fond memories. Rest in love my dear friend.

Mr. Neil was an amazing counselor at Pohakea Elementary. I am very sad to hear of his passing. He will be remembered as someone who really cared about his students and always pushed them to be their best selves. Aloha 'oe Mr. Neil!
