Dear Kim, Neil, Ryan & Tyler,
We care deeply about you all as good friends. I still see Neil Jr. smiling @ the Essex baseball field with the late summer sun behind him talking to Rachel and I about his brothers. That image is so clear in my mind. He was a sweet and kind young man any parent would be proud of....know his love is always in your hearts as yours in his. Love transcends everything even death, Neils spirit is always going to be close. And his life always so special and never...

Neil was the most caring loving person that i have ever met. i met neil through my older brother Cody sanders. Neil was the kind of guy that would do any thing in the world for you. I am proud to have considered you a true friend. i love ya brother.

i can only express my deepest sympathy to the rivers family, i used to play soccer for neil rivers sr. and i know first hand just how great of a family he had and how proud he was of each member of that family. There are no words that i have that can adequately express what a tradegy this is but i can say that my deepest thoughts go out to the Rivers family and all those affected by this loss

Dear Kim,
I am so sorry to learn of the tragic death of your son. I have heard such wonderful things about him. I remember seeing him when he was young. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom, and family. I cannot express the sadness I feel for all of you. I hope you feel comfort from the beautiful stories I have heard about your son and of all the wonderful things he accomplished to make you proud.
My prayers are with you.

To The Rivers Family,

I have the pleasure to live next door to Neil, Jr. and his family. I watched Neil grow from an adorable baby in to a strong, handsome young man. But Neil didn't grow into manhood, he was "raised" into manhood. He was "raised" in a loving home by two wonderful parents, Kim and Neil, Sr.

He was taught love, compassion, kindess and self-disciple. Neil along with his two brothers, Ryan and Tyler, were taught the importance of being a "family." They...
