Not sure what to say?

I wonder if this is the neil saunders I'm thinking of. Does anyone have a picture of him? My father had a recording studio in his living room when I was growing up as a kid. One of the guys that use to come over and record songs was a guy named Neil Saunders. I still have one of his CDs called "Debris" and I have his songs on my phone. Wonder if this is the same neil?

Neil was such a talented song writer and a wonderful trust worthy friend. Such interesting times in the studio and live on the air at WCPR. Fun parties on the beach, I miss you bro.

I first met Neil when he moved to Ocean Springs and he was working on his Midnight Knockers CD, he was and always will be a great song writer. Everytime I go to the Julep Room I always think of Neil on stage singing his original songs, he always had a lot of energy.

May you rest in peace.

Neil was a very kind man, very accepting of people.

the end comes for us all, may you rest well.

Neil was one of the first people I met when I moved to the Gulf Coast in 2001. We were immediate friends and over the years we shared many wonderful talks and experiences. I will always remember Neil fondly and am deeply saddened by his loss.

My favorite memory is from a day I was stuck trying to get out of my kayak in Gulf Park Estates. Suddenly I looked up and there is Neil, with his hand reached out to me. Who knows where I would have been without Neil there to help.

My sympathies to all of us who feel the loss of Neil as deeply as we do. I am lucky to to have known such a man. It is only his songs that I have left to remember him by. As long as they are hummed and sung, and listened to by his friends, Neil will be with us.

Neal touched my life with his words and music. He believed in the talent and dreams of those around him and was always so encouraging to the dreamers. Thank you Neil. I;m glad you were in my life

My favorite memories of Niel are sitting outside with a bunch of friends jamming and quiet little talks about all the little, big, odd and wondrous things that skittered through our brains.

Now I know why I've had this compulsion to call you when ever I'd run across your name in my phone. I should've listened harder. I'll see you in my dreams and we'll talk quietly of big small wondrous and odd. Peace to you my friend.

Neil is one of the most special people ever to enter my life. We met when he first arrived in Ocean Springs, MS brought together by his greatest love- MUSIC. He was never apprehensive at expressing himself and helped me open up after a very difficult time in my life. I loved Neil and he loved me. We share the same birthday and no matter the distance, we always connected on that day. This past year, I lost how to find him. All of us who knew him as a close friend knew how special and rare his...
