Not sure what to say?

Dear Shapiro Family,
I am very saddened to just have learned of Neil's passing. Many of my fondest childhood memories were spent with him... my sincerest condolences.

I was deeply saddened and shocked learning about Neil's untimely death.
He was so special to me while he was working at the Stern Center. He was such a wonderful human being with special gifts of laughter, teaching and reaching our students, and his personal gentlemanly way of treating anyone who he met. I'm so happy that God let our lives touch. Neil's interest in how I was doing was always a highlight of my day. I hope that you will be comforted by God's Blessings through your time...

Neil tutored my daughter, Miriam, for four years and made a tremendous difference in her life. She went from a child who could not read even at a primer level to an avid reader and an A student. He helped get her there by believing in her and making it fun. Our family will always remember Neil.

Dear Shapiros
I cannot tell you how this loss of Neil has effected me. I can only hope your pain gets better. There are many of us hurting. Hope to see you soon again.

To the Shapiro family,
Please accept my sincere condolences at this difficult time. I taught and coached Neil and remember well his intensity on the court and his sharp elbows under the basket. He was a person with a special character, that brightened up the daily life at LCC.

Dear Gerry, Peggy, and the entire Shapiro Family.
We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the tragic passing of Neil. He was a genuinely nice guy. A real 'mench'. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
