Not sure what to say?

Dear Diane and family,

So sorry to hear about Neil's death. I always felt privileged to know him, he was and is a great man.

John Donnelly and family

RADM Stevenson was the Navy Chief of Chaplains when I first was commissioned as a chaplain in 1983. On my way to the Basic Course in Newport, Rhode Island, I stopped in DC to visit my brother. We stopped by the Navy Annex to pay a courtesy call on the Admiral and enjoyed a very pleasurable visit. Later he came to Newport to speak to my graduating class. Meeting him was a wonderful beginning to my 25 year career as a Navy chaplain. Thanks, Admiral. I know you're dancing in the streets of glory!

It was our priviledge to know Neil when he was our interim pastor at Yorkminster. We were inspired by his homilies and greatly enjoyed the courses he taught. In spite of all the honors he had, he remained accessible to all. May your faith bring you comfort.

We send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. May you wonderful memories of Neil help comfort you during this difficult time.

Dear Diane, It was always a joy to welcome you and Neil to Potomac Presbyterian Church. He always had somethinbg affirming to say about the service and sermon and often added a humorus touch.
We give thanks to God for his service to our country and his ministry in the church. God be with you and your family. Kerry Stoltzfus

Dear Diane, I'm a little late with
this, having just recently gotten
word of Neil's Homegoing from Michael Haley.
I was in the Sr. Course at Newport
with Neil. It was good fellowship
with you two, as well as the other
class members. That was our only
association, unfortunately for me.
May the God we love and serve
fill your heart and life with His
Presence in special ways in these
challenging days. Remember, "...
