Not sure what to say?

A great person who was my English teacher at Classical High School in 1969.

Neil was a good man in so many ways. He was also a great husband and I miss him deeply. The condolence messages would mean so much to him knowing the legacy he left and that people "got" him. They have consoled me.

Hello Sharon, I´m sorry to see that your dad has passed away. You probably don´t remember me, but my last memory of you was when I danced with you at Club I-95 in CT to Genesis´ "Turn it On Again." I looked up your dad because I remember occasionally how nice he was to me despite my being a COMPLETE knucklehead. I have and will miss him!

So sorry to learn of Neil Yesu's passing. He was my English teacher and his wife Diane Buckley was a classmate. He certainly was one of the most memorable teachers at Classical High School. Deborah Tomchik Forman class of 1970

I am heartbroken to hear of Mr.Yesu's passing. He was my principal ,and possibly vice principal , it was so long ago, at Classical High School. My best friend and I were not bad kids, but really weren't interested in school, because we thought we didn't need it. Mr. yesu was our favorite person at school , and we still speak of him. He never judged us. He helped us. He was smart, and sweet, and caring. My friend and I owe a lot to Mr. Yesu. He talked us into finishing school , Thank Goodness....

He always kept a detention slip in his shirt pocket just for me . . . and I still liked the guy! Classical HS, class of '74

Mr. Yesu was my Public Speaking teacher and English teacher at Van Sickle in 1963. I can still recite long passages of poems we used to "perform" with great theatrics. He was a good man and an inspiring teacher.

One of my most favorite teachers at classical.

Neil was my English and Public Speaking instructor at Van Sickle Jr. High in 1963. He was one of my favorite teachers. In 1963 I won the school public speaking contest, and for the last 50+ years have made my living as a public speaker and trainer. Neil had no idea the influence he had on my career and life.
