"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day... unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear." Unknown author

“Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” —Unknown

In disbelieve and sadden of a beautiful person, a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt and dear friend to many, my deepest condolences to the Benavides and Melendez family. Our lost is Gods gain. I remember Nelda as a loving and caring person.....always fun in their family gatherings and faithful sports fan. She will be missed. Its not a good bye, but see you laters. RIP my friend

I remember attending Iglesia Cristiana Emmanuel as a teenager, meeting and growing in faith with Nelda, Neida, Nidia, Noe. Nelda was a beautiful and sweet person. My deepest condolences and prayers to all her family. My mother Ofelia Cerda also sends her condolences and prayers. God Bless.

Melendez Family, I was so saddened to hear that your unbelievable and sweet mother has passed on to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Melissa, Robert, and Natalie, you are so blessed I have had such an amazing mother. Wishing you Peace to bring comfort, Courage to face the days ahead, and Loving Memories to forever hold in your heart. God Bless All of You.

My deepest condolences to the Benavides family. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I am not believing that she is no longer with us. Nelda was a sweet person and always very helpful. Besides, knowing her since her very early years I got the pleasure of seeing her again during my Foster care position with IES. She was so caring and was just so understanding with the foster parents. I know you are with our Lord and Savior. RIP Nelda until we meet again. My deepest condolences to her family. So sorry for your loss. My sisters Nancy and Norma send their condolences

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
