Single Memorial Tree

I remember my grandmother, Lucille Siegel VanderVeen, speaking about her cousin Nelfrieda. My mother, Helen V. Dayan, just (03/25/2022) found letters to my grandmother from Nelfrieda. We found her obituary via Google. My parents and grandmother went to Chicago to visit her probably back in the 1990s. The memories of grandma telling us about Nelfrieda bring joy to our hearts. We even hav a dog (Penny, Nellie) with the nickname Nelfrieda. She wears the name well!

Dear ML and Family:

Knowing that this is difficult for you and your siblings, remember always the love and caring that your mother shared with you all and her husband. Now she can be with him, which....as you shared with me on Monday night....is where she has wanted to be since his passing. With many and repeated big hugs, we are with you....as you are always with us.

Love,

Dan and Pam
