Not sure what to say?

Sam, I haven't seen you and Nell in recent years but I remember fondly our talks at various Havana "hot spots", Dolly's , Oscars, etc. Nell was full of such grace and kindness; she drew you in. The consummate teacher, she was always willing to share her wisdom and offer sage advice. She was pretty handy at decorating tennis shoes too! She was truly loved and will be deeply missed. My sympathies to you and your family. May your memories and faith comfort you.

So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Cunningham was a lovely lady. I met her through Uncle Henry and Aunt Louise Crawford. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. May God bless you.

Beautiful Nell, beautiful soul.

My heart is so heavy at the passing of Nell Cunningham, the matriarch of our neighborhood. She was the leader of our "Waterin' Hole Gang", a community organizer for so many worthy projects, a life-long educator, a volunteer at TMH, and a dear friend and mentor to so many of us. I'm doubly sad that this pandemic doesn't afford us the opportunity to swoop in and surround Sam and the family with all the love and support they deserve. Nell is most certainly rejoicing in her heavenly reward, but I...
