Not sure what to say?

We are grateful for the love and concern that Aunt Nellie always showed for our family, starting with the invitation to Gary to go to church with her one Sunday night. That was the night he accepted the Lord. That is a jewel in her crown. So many fond memories of fun family times are associated with her. We are sorry we missed the services. We had planned on being with the family, but did not have the information needed to be there. Our prayers are with Bink & Janie, Uncle Gerald and...

To the family of Nellie Jane: I was honored and privileged to have Gene, Nellie, and Binky as my friends for all these many years. Nellie was a cherish friend during all my 27 years at Kansas City Baptist Temple. For the past 37 years in Jacksonville we never lost touch. What a blessing!
To Billy, Gerald, Wilma and family,
Gary and family, and my new found friend, Luella, my sincere love and sympathy at this sad time. We know that soon we will all be together with our Lord and...

Prayers of peace to all who will miss Aunt Nellie so very much. She is resting in heaven with many loved ones that we'll all join one day, as well. What a wonderful life she lived. May we learn from her example. God bless to all.

Dear Nellie, how you will be missed. We were teenagers together, then welcomed Gene and Bink. Loved being your friend and shown lots of love along the way from you, your spouse and family. Lots of wonderful memories.

We will miss you Nellie....From my earliest days of memory I can recall my Dad, your uncle Jim Hassler, speaking so fondly of you
and I remember with what angelic love and peace you spoke. I know we will meet again up in Heaven. I will be watching for your Mansion and I am sure you will be wearing a crown full of Jewels Amen

Good Bye Nellie 'til we meet again on Heaven's fair shore.

With much love and deepest sympathy

Your cousin Jimmye Lou

We all loved Aunt Nellie! I have so many good memories, all the way back to Bink's baseball games, family picnics in various parks, the Thanksgiving it started snowing and we were at her house, her fiestiness, and on and on. I will never forget all of those times and many more. Love, Susie

Even though you have lost someone very special who truly will never be replaced, know in your heart that she loved you dearly and is still watching over you and caring for you. You will never be alone and she is at peace. May our prayers help to comfort you and your family.

Bill and Janie, Uncle Gerald and Aunt Luella....I cannot tell you how sad I am today to be so far away!! I loved Aunt Nellie so much..once when Uncle Gene was in the hospital I walked on the floor and the nurse said "You must be Nellie's daughter, you look so much like her!" What a compliment..but a better one will be when someone says I lived a life as well and loving as she. She was the sweetest...always so concerned about my family and those so important to me. I will miss being with...

We are rejoicing that Aunt Nellie is finally home -- reunited again with Uncle Gene, her Mom, Dad, brothers and sister. We will surely miss her but she is healed and whole now in the presence of her wonderful Saviour. May the Lord comfort the family at this time.
