Nellie Nettie ORR

Born July 4, 1929, in Regina, Saskatchewan

Nellie, late of Red Rock, Ontario, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Nanaimo Regional District Hospital, Nanaimo, B.C., at the age of 82 years.

Predeceased by her husband, Calvin; parents Peter and Julianna; brothers Stanley and Jack; sisters Helen, Sharon and Gerrie. She will be greatly missed by daughters, Pam and Valerie (Dieleman); grandchildren Kevin, Keri and Jenae, great grandson Aidan; brother Victor, sisters Nadine and Terry as well as many nieces and nephews.

At Nellie's request a memorial service was not held. Nellie greatly appreciated spending time with family and friends and spent many happy years sharing her faith in the fulfilment of Bible promises with others (Psalms 37:11, 29 and Isaiah 65:21, 22). Nellie also appreciated the special care and kindness she was shown by all of her doctors, nurses and many friends.
