Thank you all for your kind words, prayers, cards, flowers, visits and food you brought by for our family during our most difficult time.

Mom was one of a kind. If you had the honor of being called "family" or "friend", it was indeed, a blessing. Mom was always known for feeding the community. If you left her home hungry, it was your own fault. She'd give you her last piece of bread or last dime if you needed it.

Dear Lisa & family, I am more sorry then I can say with the passing of your mom. I really loved visiting & spending the nights with Lisa & I always called her my other mom, she never had a day that when I seen her she had a smile I will remember that always. May the Lord lift you up in your time of need and bring you peace. With love Tonya Polston Henderson.

One of the most honest and caring women I've had that opportunity of meeting. She lives on--through the lives of those she's impacted and encountered. Forever missed, never forgotten.

Rickey, Dock and myself are sooo truly sorry for your loss. Ruth, this is Janice Eddings Wilkins... I think you all would know me better by that name. When we were small my mom Josephine Eddings and Nellie would get off to there selves; just sooo they could catch up where they had left . You two are rejoicing in HEAVEN.....HALLELUJAH
