Los Osos - Manuela (Nellie) Mijia Regalado passed away peacefully on Mother 's Day, May 12, 2024, in her home in Los Osos, California.
Born on July 11, 1946, in Guadalupe, California, to Rafael Regalado and Manuela Mijia, Nellie was one of eight siblings.
She raised four children: Sally Miller, Tonia Bohanna, Jamie Ledermann (deceased), and James Bohanna (deceased). She had 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
She worked as a custodian at Cal Poly for 35 years and volunteered at French Hospital and a local thrift store in Los Osos.
Nellie was a pillar of strength and independence. She cherished her family and was grounded in her faith.
Services will be held on May 26th, 2024, at Los Osos Valley Memorial in Los Osos, CA. There will be a viewing from 8-10 AM, followed by a ceremony at 10:00 AM led by Reverend Larry Black. A procession and interment will follow the services.
