Nellie Elizabeth Bounds Russell

As a meals on wheels volunteer I had a wonderful experience meeting Mrs Russell. She was always so nice to us and we would have a few quick words about the Buckeyes and flowers. We do miss her but know she is happy in her new home. The Wednesday group.

To the family and friends of Mrs. Russell, I was blessed to have known Mrs. Nellie during the time I lived in Columbus, Ohio. Although it has been almost 20 years since I left Ohio, I will never forget her unwavering love for St. John A.M.E. and her church family. She was kind, caring, and full of joy. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross for a season.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Mrs Russell was one of my most loved and respected patients. I really loved this woman.I know she's happy now to be home with the Lord.

God is sovereign,during this time of sorrow.Continue to lean on him in this time of need. Remember we will all meet again. Love you Granny Nellie.

My nellie, I will miss our weekly visits. You were more than a patient to me, you became family in my heart. I will always treasure your stories and the many laughs we shared. Your smile is forever in my heart and soul.I will see you in heaven and we will laugh together again. I love you my nellie.
