CAYCE - Services for Nellie Ruth Strube, 71, of Cayce, will be held at 11am Monday, July 17, 2006 in Broadacres Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Kevin Phillips and Rev. Homer Jeffcoat. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Broadacres Baptist Church or Gideons International.

Mrs. Strube died Friday, July 14, 2006. Born in Orangeburg, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Bennie C. Miller and Estelle Chavis Miller. She was a member of Broadacres Baptist Church and had retired from S.C. Department of Transportation.

Surviving are her husband of over 49 years, Robert A. Strube of Cayce; son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Janice Strube of Cayce; sisters, Louise Montgomery of Orangeburg, Ruby Tillis of Florida and Annette Padgett of Orangeburg; brothers, Horace Miller and his wife Fannie of Raleigh, NC, Leo Miller of Neeses, SC, ; two grandchildren, Christopher R. Strube and Melissa A. Strube.

Mrs. Strube was predeceased by her sister, Julia Flake.
