Not sure what to say?

Dear Karen,
I learned of Nels passing through my daughter, Lydia, yesterday while visiting the family for the day.

I know that death is a reality for all of us, but we are all touched in special ways when it happens.

You and Nels Have been a special part of my extended family for many years.

In lieu of coming to the calling hours, I would like to spend an afternoon with you and take you out to lunch sometime soon, at your convenience. I would like you to share your...

Mr Nels, many memories, good man who will not be forgotten, rest in peace. Probably having a good old time up there with your buddies. Much love, Caren P.

Many , many thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Becoming friends over 30 years ago on Loughboro Lake. Battersea Ontario, Canada, we have Wonderful memories to treasures. Remembering Nel taking our family photos on many occasions. The Lumbermen party was a pleasure to meet. We know that Bill &a Nels Are watching over us Pettie. The world has lost the best there was. My sympathy to you Petie. Thinking of you.

Petie and Family, My heart goes out to you all as this wonderful man has gone fishing in heaven. I will cherish the memories of his friendship and of the great sense of humor he had. I loved him like the brother I never had and his spirit will live with me forever.

"when I come to the end of the horizon,
and enter the other shore,
remember me with fondness,
cry for me no more/

I have found my final resting place,
That special spot to fish,
Remember the times we...

Nel's sense of humor and quick wit made him the life of the party. I'll forever remember his ability to make everyone laugh, and coming home from an evening out with Nel and Petie and my stomach hurting from laughing so hard the entire night. His jokes on the waiter or waitress were the best!

We celebrate the life of this wonderful man...Nel has touched us so with his joyful spirit and love of life. He will be dearly missed but will forever be in our hearts with the fondest of memories of our times shared. May GOD BLESS his wonderful family. God has carried him home and now in His care for eternity. All our love,

Our heartfelt sympathy to Petie and Nel's family. He was a witty, kind and generous man.
