I remember Mr Burkholder from long ago in the practice of law with the land company. A gentleman indeed. I am so sorry for your loss. -=DH=-

Sister Burkholder And Family,
It is with a heavy heart that that I enter this guest book entry.
Reverend Burkholder was my mentor/father figure/listener/teacher and the list could go on and on as a child as I attended Calvary with my mother (Katherine Mitchell) and brother.
He was just a wonderful, caring man and it was easy to gravitate to his spirit/wisdom and grace.
He forever will be a great part of my life along with Sister Burkholder as I...

My heart goes out to Dorothy, Nelson Jr., Kay and Kristen at this sad time in their lives, but also happy time due to Nelson going to be with our Lord. I have many good memories of our Sunday lunches together and Nelson's jokes. I also remember how proud he was to tell me of your last anniversary. You both exemplified what a Christian marriage is all about. You all remain in my prayers.

Pastor Nelson Burkholder married Rick and I almost 22 years ago. We have always looked up to him and Dorothy as role models and will never forget how they both gave us their blessings and beginnings to a happy married life. Sandy and Rick Wagner

Mr. & Mrs. B entertained my kids, especially my daughter many afternoons for years. Every now & then Krissy would bring home some bread that Mrs. B allowed her to help make, as well as cookies. We were the...

I had never had the opportunity to meet such a wonderul man although my respect for him runs very deep. I read his book with great enthusiasm and got to know the measure of the man as much as one can by reading about his life. His loss is dear to those close to him - but being close to him, they know already that he is with God and his family that have gone before him.
The pioneering spirit, the work ethic, the simple belief in an all-mighty Savior - all are severely missing from...
