Nelson "Joe Charles" Charles, 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Beaumont, Texas . A native of Church Point, Louisiana "Joe Charles" as he was fondly known to family and friends made Beaumont his home.


He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He was retired from Good Year Tire & Rubber Plant after 37 years as an Operator in the Operations Dept.


He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Bobbie Charles, other relatives and friends.

It was such a pleasure to know Nelson and his wife Bobby. My condolences to Bobby, his loving children, sisters and brothers. Nelson will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He, his wife, children, brothers and sisters always left you feeling like a part of the family. Love you always
