Mr. Deckelbaum-- you are missed--you always had that re-assuring presence. You took the time to listen and offered positive and wise counsel in that very unique voice. Mrs. Deckelbaum--please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the honor and challenge of litigating against Nelson several times early in my career. He was a tough advocate and an unfailing gentleman. He will be missed.

Nelson was a real mensch and mentor to me when I first started practicing law and throughout my career to this very day. He had a great sense of humor and was always available and willing to assist when tough situations and issues arose. I also admired his stamina which he had to the very end.

The news of Nelson's passing has left a hole in my heart. He was such a magnificent gentleman throughout all of our years working together. I'll never forget his extraordinary wisdom and friendship.
