My condolences to you and your daughter. Nelson was an absolute wonderful person! I enjoyed him so much when I worked in Housing Services at CWU. He left such a positive lasting impression with everyone he touched -

I had the pleasure of attending and being a comrade of Nelson while attending the Basic Law Enforcement Police Academy with him during Academy Class 443. I am saddened by Nelson’s passing, but must celebrate Nelson’s life and remember that Nelson was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and he is now in Heaven. My sincere condolences go out to Mrs. Anna Ng, their precious daughter, Elise, and to the entire Ng family. I pray that God will provide you all with comfort during your...

Dear Joe, Betty, Paul, Anna and Elise: I am so sorry to hear about Nelson. My heart goes out to all of you at this sad time and in days ahead. May the Lord gives you peace and strength. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary

Running down the ridge on Wednesday night I saw the most beautiful, vivid rainbow in front of me than I had ever seen in my life. I had been thinking about Nelson on my run after seeing the photograph left in the guest box at the top of the ridge. I did not know him well, but know that he was a kind, generious, compassionate person. Blessings to the family as they grieve this tragic loss. I wish you the peace that seeing the rainbow gave to me and the hope that the little blessings in...

Nelson was the first person I met when I arrived at CWU. He was my LGA, a fellow Explorer and my friend. He encouraged me not only through his words, but the way he lived his life every day. I am a better person for having known Nelson and I hope that you can find comfort in knowing that his life goes on through the many people he inspired. I share in your grief and send my love to the entire Ng family, his friends and the Ellensburg community who undoubtedly feels this great loss.

Anna and family:
I don't have the words to express my feeling for you and Nelson. It was my privilege to call him my friend. Go with God.
